All-inclusive Dining

We have a dedicated and passionate Culinary Team, led by an international Executive Chef. The Team serves a variety of Western, Asian, and Bhutanese dishes and can adapt to any diet preference or food allergy.

To provide the most fresh and tasty food we have a greenhouse, vegetable and herbal garden on the premises. As much as possible we serve seasonal and local produce. To avoid food waste we pay great attention to portion control.

Daily, guests can enjoy our dining-inclusive concept with healthy and tasty a la carte breakfasts, 4-course set lunches, 6-course set dinners, and snacks.

We serve international wines and spirits. House wines and local beers are served complimentary.

Eat & Drink

Our restaurant is located in the most central area of the Sanctuary. Its floor-to-ceiling windows provide a magnificent view into the Neyphu Valley during the day, or of the fireplace on the restaurant terrace by night.

There are no fixed times for meals, the a la carte breakfast is served from 7 AM, and last dinner service is at 10 PM. If you prefer to have your meal in your room, we are happy to provide room service at no extra costs.

In the tea bar, we serve a collection of 20 Bhutanese herbal teas, all with different health benefits. Our Team is happy to serve and explain, and you can enjoy the tea with some home-made cookies either in the tea bar, or in the afternoon sun on the terrace.

Cooking Classes & Picnics

Part of your all-inclusive stay is a Bhutanese cooking class with one of our Chefs. Get your hands on Bhutanese dim sums, which are called momos, and come in all kinds of varieties. Or the well-known Ema Datshi, a dish made of yak cheese and lots of spicy chilies. Be assured, our Team can adapt to all levels of spiciness.

We love to surprise you with home-made picnics, so you can enjoy tasty and freshly made food while enjoying the beautiful nature of Bhutan. Let our Culinary Team know if you are interested in trying out a hot Bhutanese set or rather going for some healthy fruit juices, sandwiches, and pastries.
